Instead of apology, Onochie calls Sen Abaribe a 'Moron' as Nigerians reacts

Personal Assistant on Social Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Lauretta Onochie, has come under attack by Nigerians for calling Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe a 'Buffoon'.

Onochie had in a tweet on Wednesday called Senator Abaribe 'buffoon' for asking Nigerians to stone President Muhammadu Buhari over insecurity in the country.



However, this did not go down well with Nigerians as many condemned her attitude towards the Senator.

@AmureEmman who reacted to the Presidential aide tweet, cautioned her to be mindful of her words against the Senator. But instead of retracting her statement, Onochie rather made the situation worse by calling the Senator 'a moron'.


Segun said, "Please, kindly apologize to Senator Abaribe for calling him BUFFON. Such pronouncement is HATE SPEECH.

Even though you are paid to defend this unscrupulous government of buhari,there are things you should remain quiet about rather than ridicule your name and that of your family. Who say you must reply or comment. This so called woman calling the minority leaders name, did you hear the senator categorically say Nigerians should atone the president? Because if you are educated and understand English, what the senator said was straight, simple and factual. The senator began his contribution yesterday by quoting the president for saying he is not aware of the k*llings still going on in Nigeria. He further quoted the president saying that, at their campaign the president party said if they fail to deliver their promises Nigerians should stone them". So what crime is there to remind the president of his campaign promises and suggesting resignation if he feels incompetent? That's why there is no development no peace, no cooperation because you people just cant be objective in your reasoning? Because I wonder what is your justification for calling the senator names
