Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has said God is not happy with president Muhammadu Buhari’s government, and will therefore, cause something strange to happen to the president.
Ayodele who spoke in a statement made obtained by Daily Post, called on Nigerians to pray against bloodshed, unrest and confusion which he said will be severe, and would spare no one, not even the elites.
He said, “There is something mysterious that will happen, I can’t say when but it will bring unrest in Nigeria, this will also affect the presidency and President Buhari will be in total confusion.
“Nigeria is sitting on a time bomb. I am seeing people running helter-skelter confused, I see people stoning governors, honorable, abusing Buhari, People will be running for safety.
“God isn’t happy with Buhari’s government because He has not done what the Lord has sent him, anybody can criticize this, blood will flow in Nigeria, we need prayers, I see unrest everywhere, either you are a governor or president, you are not going to escape it.
Meanwhile, Buhari’s former ally and National Chairman of the Reformed-All Progressives Congress (R-APC), Alhaji Buba Galadima, has said the president Muhammadu Buhari government has impoverished Nigerians so much that a slave seem much better in comparison.
The estranged political associate of President Buhari, has accused the Buhari government of mismanaging the nation's economy saying they "have no idea of how to run a modern economy."
He said with the way things are headed in the country, Nigerians could soon find themselves in a situation where they'll begin feeding from dustbins.
Responding to questions on calls for prayers over the challenges facing the country, he said, "That is what Africans do when they face a situation that is beyond their comprehension. They tell you to pray. So, we are praying to God."
On whether things would improve in the country, he said, "I say we have not seen anything yet. This government will lead us to a situation where Nigerians will be eating from the dustbin because they have no clue of how to address the issues bordering the economy. This government is behaving as if we are a conquered people. Even slaves have better freedom than we do."
