Video: Confusion as Biden calls Kamala Harris 'President-elect'

The United States is not only dealing with record cases of covid-19, add the election drama and Biden's tendency to goof into the mix, and you wonder why 2020 is a load of horror shows.

Mr Joe Biden who is believed to be suffering from dementia, has on many occasion, being caught making goofy statements, prompting many Americans to believe he's not fit to run the country as President.

This has led to speculations that Joe Biden wasn't really the Democratic Party's choice for the Presidential race, but would tap on his influence to defeat Trump, after which his vice, Mrs Harris, would act as de facto president.

In a recent viral video on Twitter, Biden's dementia has once again, rear its ugly head as he could be heard referring to his running mate in the last election, Senator Kamala Harris, as "President-elect".

Biden made the latest goof during his planned remarks regarding the coronavirus pandemic in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware.

“I hope the president will clearly and unambiguously urge all Americans to take the vaccine once it’s available,” stated Biden. “I took it to instill public confidence in the vaccine. President-elect Harris took hers today for the same reason.”

Biden’s goof isn’t the first time his remarks have stirred talk about Harris assuming the presidency, perhaps after the president-elect’s first term in office.

According to Breitbart, Biden, back in August, said he selected Harris as his running mate because she is “ready to lead on day one.”

“If Kamala Harris and I are elected, we’re going to inherit multiple crises, a nation divided, and a world in disarray. “We won’t have a minute to waste,” Biden tweeted at the time. “That’s exactly why I picked her: She’s ready to lead on day one.”

In September, Harris referred to the “Harris administration” during a virtual roundtable on the economy.

“A Harris administration, together with Joe Biden as the president of the United States,” she said before quickly correcting herself.

In other news coming from the United States, Republican Rep candidate, Luke Letlow, who won his election and was due to be sworn in as a member of the 117th Congress, representing the people of Louisiana’s rural 5th congressional district, has died Tuesday from covid-19 at the age of 41.

A condolence statement by Gov. John Bel Edwards, of the state of Louisiana, reads:

It is with heavy hearts that Donna and I offer our condolences to Congressman-elect Luke Letlow’s family on his passing after a battle with COVID-19. Congressman-elect Letlow felt a calling from a young age to serve the people of his home state, working behind the scenes for former Governor Bobby Jindal and serving as chief of staff to Congressman Ralph Abraham, who he was recently elected to succeed. COVID-19 has taken Congressman-elect Letlow from us far too soon. I am heartbroken that he will not be able to serve our people as a U.S. Representative, but I am even more devastated for his loving family. I hope all of the people of Louisiana will join Donna and me in praying for Congressman-elect Letlow’s family, especially his wife Julia and their two children, his many friends, and the people of the 5th Congressional District. Louisiana has lost more than 7,300 people to COVID-19 since March, and each one of them leaves a tremendous hole in our state. I have ordered flags to be flown at half-staff on the day of Congressman-elect Letlow’s funeral.
