Human rights activist, Comrade Deji Adeyanju, on Tuesday urged Buhari’s government not to set ablaze the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC to hide corruption.
Adeyanju said this while reacting to the suspension of the acting chairman of the commission, Mr Ibrahim Magu.
Reacting in a tweet he said, "Don’t burn down EFCC in an attempt to hide corruption.
Mr Magu was suspended as the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday.
This development comes a day after he was arrested and detained by security operatives in Abuja over some allegations, including the diversion of recovered loot levelled against him by the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.
Adeyanju said this while reacting to the suspension of the acting chairman of the commission, Mr Ibrahim Magu.
