It won't be too long until Nigerians once again, head to the polls to decide who Buhari's next successor would be.
A number of politicians from both north and south have already expressed interest in running for the number seat in the country, but it appears a good number of Nigerians particularly from the North, have their eyes set on the return of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan to the ballot.
One facebook user who commented on Jonathan's post remembering his late boss, former president Umar Musa Yar'Adua, said he and many people in the North who ignored advice to re-elect Jonathan, want him back in 2023.
But with calls for the former president to run in 2023 gaining momentum, Jonathan in a statement on Sunday, May 10th, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, said he is more focused on serving the nation through his foundation, although not dismissing the possibility of seeking election in 2023.
