Stop fighting over what has already been decided — Fani Kayode tells Souther Leaders

While Atiku takes his fight to the Supreme Court, the question of who becomes the next President in 2023 has become the bone of contention between the nation's geopolitical zones.



The idea of zoning has been officially declared dead and buried unless of course, it is about moving power to the North. This obviously, has become a major issue as other regions are made to feel inferior to the North — something they consider unacceptable.

With the Southwest and East seemingly gunning for the top seat in 2023, it is unlikely they'd be willing to sacrifice their respective ambitions in favour of the North, nor will they accept any form of alliance with the North should the North insist on holding on to power beyond 2023.


Should the aforementioned be the case, the South is left with nothing but an option which according to Fani Kayode is either "RESTRUCTURING or SEPARATION".




The former Minister of Aviation says the North isn't joking when they said power is going nowhere come 2023. He said the North has already decided to keep power for the next 20 years, and wonders why the South is fighting over what has already been decided.
