I have not said anything about Osinbajo’s ordeal — Bakare reacts

Pastor Tunde Bakare
Senior Pastor and founder, Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has deny granting any interview on the issues involving Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and President Buhari.

In a phone conversation with TheCable on Monday, Bakare said he is ready to give his own counsel in regards to the subject matter if it is sought for. But he has not said anything about the Vice president issue.

He urged Nigerians to disregard any interview he is said to have given over the raging matter.

“I believe the government is perfectly capable of addressing the issues,”.

“I have not and I am not granting interviews on this current VP saga. If, however, my counsel is sought at all, I will handle that confidentially and not in public.”

Meanwhile, an old video recording in which Bakare declared he is “number 16” after President Muhammadu Buhari, who he says is “number 15″ in the ”scheme of things”, has sparked mixed reactions on social media.

Bakare, during a sermon said that nothing could change it because he was born for that purpose to be president.

According to him, while Buhari is number 15, he would be the 16th president of Nigeria.

The controversial pastor said God had prepared him for this job for more than 30 years.

“I will succeed Buhari as President of Nigeria, nothing can change it. I am number 16, Buhari is number 15. I never said it to you before. I am saying it now and nothing can change it.

“In the name of Jesus, he is number 15. I am number 16. To this end was I born and for this purpose came I into the world. I have prepared you for this for more than 30 years,” he said.
