I wasn't invited when Sowore and Buhari were romancing each other in 2015 — Omokri replies Nigerians

Former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has reacted to Nigerians asking him to intervene on Omoyele Sowore’s ordeal.

Recall that Omoyele Sowore, the convener of the #RevolutionNow Movement was arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services on account of scheduled protest which was to hold on 5th of August.

Members of the movement stormed the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos chanting revolutionary songs but met a brick wall as security agencies fired gunshots and teargas to disperse them.

But reacting on his official twitter handle on Wednesday, Omokri, even though he did not mention Sowore’s name, said when he (Sowore) and Buhari were romancing each other against Goodluck Jonathan in 2015, no one approached him for help.

He tweeted "There is this young man suffering at the hand of General
@MBuhari
and people have approached me to support him. But I tell them, why should I stand between this person and General Buhari? When they were romancing each other, did they approach me?"
