Since Tinubu befriends Buhari, he changed, says Femi Aribisala

Femi Aribisala, a faith columnist has said the National leader of the All Progressives Congress APC has changed since he became friends with President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said that Tinubu was one of those who were clamoring for the restructuring of Nigeria but suddenly dropped the demand after getting into alliance with Buhari.



Tinubu has been accused of promoting Ruga Settlement project which was proposed by the federal government. Since the issue of the Ruga initiative was revealed, the APC chieftain remained silent about it.

Reacting on his official twitter handle, Femi said "Men like Bola Tinubu who was loud in calling for the restructuring the Nigerian polity, which is one of the cardinal demands of South, dropped their demand like a hot potato once they entered into an alliance with Buhari.

The former governor of Lagos State is revered as one of the most influential voices in the western part of the country. That he was able to garner votes for President Mohammadu Buhari in the 2015 presidential elections is enough proof of the power he holds among the Yoruba race.

However, current trends in the country especially the activities of herdsmen and the preferential treatment the Fulani tribe currently enjoys under the Buhari administration is beginning to make even diehard supporters of the Lion of Bourdilon to have a rethink.
