Just In: Fani Kayode begs Peter Obi to leave the country and never returns

Former Aviation Minister and misguided chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Femi Fani Kayode, has expressed fears over the growing influence of Labour Party's presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, in the country, saying it would be for the good of the ruling party if Obi eventual leaves the country and never comes back.

Obi who has filed petition challenging Bola Tinubu's Victory in the February 25th presidential election, has been upbeat on his chances of reclaiming a mandate he said was stolen from him by the ruling party in collaboration with the nation's electoral body, INEC.

The Labour Party candidate has enjoyed support from millions of young Nigerians from across the country also known as Obidients. These young Nigerians see Mr Obi as a symbol of hope and endless possibilities. He is seen as the light which lies at the end of the tunnel, but which the existing corrupt political structures in the country, wills that Nigerians never gets to see.

Prior to the elections, Obi pride himself on these young Nigerians whom he said are his structures. This has always been his line of defense whenever the top two political parties in the country dismiss the surging Obidient movement as nothing more than social media scoundrels who wouldn't even show up at the polls.

However, with the Labour Party's shocking outing in the last election, catching the big wigs by surprise, last minute efforts to cover up their embarrassing loss at the polls, saw the APC and the PDP outrig each other, resulting in a messy electoral process where several result sheets where heavily tampered.

There were also several reported cases of voter intimidation, suppression, and attacks across polling units in the country. In fact, the whole process was deemed by foreign observers, as one of the worst elections ever conducted in the country.

Nevertheless, aggrieved candidates were advised to seek redress in courts rather than resort to violence.

With Obi now in court, the ruling party for some reason, seem to be in distress, and has resorted to pre-election shenanigans believed to be aimed at diverting attention from the suit filed against it's candidate, Bola Tinubu.

However, with it's smear campaign and propaganda failing to gain traction, the ruling party has grown all the more restless, and now resort to using powerful individuals within the country to pressure the People's choice, Mr Peter Obi to flee the country over unfounded claims of treason.

Fani Kayode, who has been all out against Obi, and who hasn't been sleeping properly since Obi's petition was filed, has joined the group of prayer warriors, hoping that Obi would succumb to pressure and flee.

However, Mr Obi to the disappointment of his traducers, has maintained that he's more focused on reclaiming the People's mandate handed to him, and has no plans whatsoever, to leave the country. He likewise called on his amazing Obidients across the country to remain peaceful and focus on the ultimate goal of reclaiming their mandate, and building a new Nigeria which works for all.
