Former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr Reno Omokri, has raised an alarm that his life is under threat over his recent comments against the presidential flagbearer of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi.
Omokri in a post on his official twitter handle on Friday, said if anything happens to him and his family, "the world should hold Peter Obi responsible"
His words, "The threats are too much. My life is at risk. If anything happens to me, my wife, my children, or siblings, the world should hold Peter Obi responsible. He has raised a horde of intolerant and violent Obidients who just want to replace Buhari’s tyranny with theirs!"

Omokri had lambasted Obi supporters saying that, "As bad as Nigeria now is, it will be worse under Obi. Peter’s horde are most intolerant. Datti Baba Ahmed is an excellent choice. He is not cut from their cloth. The Obi mob can’t tolerate what Buhari tolerates. I shudder to think of a Nigeria under their rule!"
"These Obi hordes do not want to replace Buhari’s rule with good governance. They want to replace it with their own tyranny. They want a Nigeria governed by their personality cult, where if you are not with Peter, you are an enemy of Nigeria, to be cancelled out!"
A statement that sparked outrage among loyalists of Peter Obi across the country.
