Right activist, Comrade Deji Adeyanju, has criticised Labour Party’s presidential flag bearer, Mr Peter Obi for choosing Senator Datti Baba Ahmed to be his running mate for the 2023 presidential election.
Adeyanju in a post on his official Facebook page on Thursday, said "Of all the jobless former Governors in the North, Obi couldn’t find any" to be his running mate except Baba Ahmed, describing it as a social media presidency.
He said, "If it is true that Datti Baba Ahmed is Obi’s VP, then i’m sure this is a social media presidency. This ticket reminds me of Shehu Sani who has 2.6m followers on Twitter but scored 2 votes at PDP primaries. Of all the jobless former Governors in the North, Obi couldn’t find any.
Meanwhile, his post hits a brick wall as Nigerians disagree with his comment on Obi's choice.
