Former Nigerian lawmaker, Ben Murray-Bruce, has reacted to the victory of Atiku Abubakar in the Peoples Democratic Party PDP presidential primary election held on Saturday.
While expressing his excitement in a post on his official Facebook page, Bruce described Atiku as his "longtime friend and big brother", saying that the delegates had made a very good choice for voting the one who has the capacity to rebuild this country, Nigeria.
His words, "I’m so excited! You can’t imagine. H.E Atiku has been my longtime friend and big brother, and I can vouch without any reservations for his character and capacity to rebuild this country, Nigeria. Our PDP delegates made the right choice. The process to rebuild Nigeria starts now.
Recall that Atiku polled 371 votes in the election which held at MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Saturday.
He beat his closest challenger, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, who scored 237 votes.
