Some Nigerians from the Northern part of the country have taken to Twitter, using the hashtag #NorthIsBleeding, to demand for President Muhammadu Buhari’s resignation over his failure to address increasing insecurity in the region.
They also described his visit to Lagos for the book launch of a political ally a few days after bandits burnt to ashes over 45 travellers in Sokoto as a misplaced priority and a heartless decision.
They lamented that Northerners wasted their votes in electing the President.
