A fossilized Dinosaur embryo discovered in China

Dinosaur embryo fossil

A dinosaur embryo estimated to be at least 66 million years old has been discovered inside a fossilized egg in China, Wednesday, December 22.

Scientists describe the discovery as one of the best-preserved specimens of its kind ever found.

The embryo is thought to be a toothless, bird-like oviraptorosaur -- a type of dinosaur that are distinct for their characteristically short, beaked, parrot-like skulls. The embryo has been named “Baby Yingliang.” (Reuters)
