Lekki Massacre: Nigerians passes vote of no confidence on Buhari, Lai Mohammed, Adesina, others, calls for president’s impeachment

President Muhammadu buhari, and minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed

Following the Lagos judicial panel’s report that affirmed that Nigerian soldiers massacred unarmed and peaceful #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki tollgate on October 20 last year, Nigerians on social media have passed votes of no confidence on President Muhammadu Buhari and his entire cabinet members.

They made their feelings known while reacting in an opinion poll that was conducted by The PUNCH on Wednesday.

The paper asked: "Do You Support The Calls For Lai Mohammed's Sack For Denying The Lekki "Massacre"?"

Below are some their reactions:

Solomon Ejieme, "100%. Mr. president & honourable members.. Under section '112' paragraph 'B' of............

I hereby move a motion that Lia Mohammed should be sacked, proscribed and prosecuted with immediate effect for lying & causing problems against humanity always."

Engr Amaechi Aniche, "Yes but Buhari will not sack him because he is actually employed to tell lies if not people will stone his Oga for bad governance."

Oloyede Hollajide Monsur, "Ministerial cap doesn't fit the man from onset, let him be sacked with immediate effect and send him back to village to go and face bandits... Radarada, useless leaders everywhere, even that Femi Adesina should also be sack"

Chidera Ezike, "In a sane country with this panel report national assembly should have start the Impeachment trial of president Muhammed Buhari and sacking of lie Mohammed and arrest of the officers involved and sanwo olu should resign as a Governor of Lagos State"

Emeka Ugwuonye, "Yes, Lai Mohammed should be sacked"

Arthur Isaac, "With immediate effect for bringing shame and disgrace to his profession, ministry and Nigerian in general. He should be prosecuted for misleading the public"

David Iyiola Fadugba, "Not only Lai Mohammed but the entire members of executive arm of the government should be sacked. Vote of no confidence should be passed on the elected members beginning from the President."

Henry Caesar, "He should be sacked, yes. But let’s not talk like sacking Lai Mohammed is going to make everything even. Like the lives that were lost are not even worth up to the job of one man because he’s in power? No way. People need to be held accountable. Not just tying it to the office of someone, or calling it the police or the military where no one can be charged individually. I mean real people, culprits of this horrible act should be held accountable. I’m glad the UN and the international community are already involved."

Tony Rich, "Not only sack but add 21years imprisonment for false information & evil support."
