The Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, has come under fire for saying president Muhammadu Buhari lost appetite over killing of about 23 passengers along Jos North LGA of Plateau State by attackers.
Mr Pantami had said that Buhari refused to eat food after receiving reports that over 23 passengers were killed by attackers in Jos while on their way to Ondo state after attending an Islamic function in Bauchi state.
He said, “The president had since directed that the perpetrators of the attack be fished out and prosecuted.
“He spoke with top military brass on the issue. He had just returned from a journey, and as matter of fact the president could not even eat food,” Pantami added.
But his statement did not go down well with Nigerians as many wonder why Buhari will enjoy his meal when hundreds of people in Southern Kaduna, Benue, and Plateau are being killed by fulani herdsmen but lost appetite when Muslim passengers were killed.
