The conflict between Israel and Hamas, a terrorist group operating in the Gaza Strip, is becoming messier following reports of rockets being fired toward Israel from Lebanon.
Although, the rockets fired from Lebanon towards northern Israel on Monday, failed to hit its target, the Israeli military has also responded by launching artillery toward Lebanon, although it is believed the response did not appear to signal the opening of a new front in Israel's fighting with militants in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli military did confirmed t fired artillery at "the sources of the launches" in Lebanon.
6 rockets were just fired from Lebanon toward northern Israel, all of which fell inside Lebanon.

In response, our artillery forces fired toward the sources of the launches.
A Lebanese security source said shells were heard being fired from south Lebanon and efforts were being made to identify the location. The source said about 22 shells were fired by Israeli artillery on Lebanese territory, although there were no reports of casualties or damage.
The Lebanese shelling caused Israeli air raid sirens to blare near the kibbutz of Misgav Am, along Israel's northern border with Lebanon.

As the conflict between Israel and Hamas escalates, the United States has reportedly, approved the the sale of $735 million in weapons to Israel as the nation continues its daily battle against Hamas.
