Former Minister of Aviation and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has urged Nigerians to disregard statements on news platforms that are not from his verified twitter and Facebook accounts.
He said any quotation that they did not read directly from his social media accounts are not from him.
Reports making the rounds on news platforms and social media has it that the PDP chieftain is making moves to dump the PDP and return to his former party APC which he has been criticising for years.
In his reaction, the former minister was silent on whether the report about his plan defection to the ruling party after meeting with the party leaders is true or false.
"I would advise Nigerians to be very wary about fake quotations that are being attributed to me concerning other political leaders in the country."
"If you did not read it on my verified twitter handle or my verified Facebook page then I NEVER said it."
"Period." he wrote on Twitter
