Senator Dino Melaye, who represented Kogi West in the 8th Senate, has said it is unfair for wicked leaders in the country to make it to 2021, despite denying many innocent Nigerians the same privilege due to the "colossal and gross ineptitude and incompetence" of the current government.
Melaye who made the statement in a tweet on Wednesday, also added in a follow up tweet, asking God to intervene in anger against evil leaders in the country.

The country has been plagued by myriad of security challenges which has escalated since Buhari took over from Jonathan in 2015. However, the year 2020 will be remembered for the extraordinary hardship Nigerians had to endure, especially with the challenge of covid-19, and government’s horrible handling of the situation.
Impeaching Buhari, could have saved lives
Member of the House of Representatives representing Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency in Rivers State, Kingsley Chinda, who had called for Buhari's impeachment on December 7th, believes doing so would have restored hope among the people.
Chinda who is the leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, House of Representatives Caucus, said calls for Buhari's impeachment wasn't out of hatred for the President or anything personal, but simply a matter of saving the country from being run aground by a president who clearly isn't capable of running the country any more.
He said, “We do not hate Mr. President. He has done nothing personal to us, but we are saying that Mr. President is not fit for purpose.
“If we look at our country and we do nothing and keep quiet because we are afraid, because we want to please people, by the time this country collapses, we will have no other country to go to.
“I can give you 20 reasons why we should change the leadership in this country because we are talking about life, we don’t even care about the economy. If we love ourselves, I have told my colleagues, it is either the President goes or we should all be ready to go.”
Catholic bishop, Rev Matthew Kukah, has been the target of rage over his statement accusing the Buhari administration of leading the country "into darkness" by "deliberately sacrificing the dreams of those who voted" him to power.
Kukah added saying, “Every honest Nigerian knows that there is no way any non-Northern Muslim President could have done a fraction of what President Buhari has done by his nepotism and gotten away with it.
“There would have been a military coup a long time ago or we would have been at war."
