President Donald Trump is still not backing down despite pressures from all sides, including his allies from the Republican party, urging him to concede, and begin working on a transition by cooperating with Joe Biden's team.
Trump has alleged that the November 3rd US elections was marred by irregularities and deliberate manipulation of the election aimed at denying him a second term in office. While his most of his claims are actually factual, established medias across the globe have insisted, Trump's claims are unfounded.
So far, Trump has lost a handful of court cases in some states, particularly in the State of Pennsylvania, and a recount in Georgia. Yet, he hopes to pursue his case right up to the Supreme Court, where he hopes for a more favorable ruling.
However, in what came as a shock to many Trump supporters, President Donald Trump’s legal team on Sunday, distanced themselves from attorney Sidney Powell, noting that she did not represent the president, either as part of the team or in his personal capacity.
Powell had pursued a theory that Dominion voting machines, operating with Smartmatic software, were manipulable and had been responsible for switching votes from Trump to Democratic challenger Joe Biden. She also alleged that Dominion had worked with foreign governments, including Venezuela, and produced an affidavit purporting to support that allegation.
But In a statement attributed to Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, and Trump legal adviser Jenna Ellis, the team said: “Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity.”
Powell has been seen by many Trump supporters as an important and great addition in the struggle to help Trump win his court case challenging the victory of Joe Biden in the November election. Her exclusion from the struggle according to supporters of Trump, would all but end Trump's hope of reclaiming his victory through the court.
There are no coincidences. Everything is planned.

However, in response to development, an associate of Powell, said there's no cause for alarm, adding both he and Powell "are fighting different legal battles for the same clients."
Sidney Powell @SidneyPowell1 & I are more alike than we are different.
