Nigerians have rain down curses on President Muhammadu Buhari for being insensitive to the gruesome killing of over 110 innocent farmers by Boko Haram terrorists at Zabarmari in the Jere Local Government Area of Borno State.
The farmers went to their farms to harvest crops where the Boko Haram insurgents ambushed and killed them.
According to reports, the terrorists were said to have first tied up the farmers, who were working in rice fields, before slitting their throats.
While the nation is mourning, Buhari was felicitating with foremost jurist, Owelle of Ogwashi Uku, Chief George Uwechue, SAN, on his 82nd birthday in a statement issued by his Spokesman, Garba Shehu.
This did not go down well with most Nigerians as they lambasted the president for refusing to honor the deceased farmers by postponing every birthday greetings to another day.
