Governor Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party has cleared 10 out of the 18 local government areas of the state from the result declared so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.
The PDP scored 162, 044 while APC had 102, 498 votes from the declared results in the 10 LGAs.
With this, the PDP leads with 59, 546 votes.
From the results declared so far, Obaseki is leading his All Progressive Congress rival, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, by a wide margin.
