Fani-Kayode will be Nigeria president, says CAN

The chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Apostle Alex Bamgbola, has pronounced that former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode will become the president of Nigeria someday.

Apostle Bamgbola pronounced this on Fani-Kayode in a video obtained by Legit Tv at the celebration of Bishop Isaac Idahosa’s 31 years in ministry.

Fani-Kayode, who has always opposed Buhari’s administration, immediately went on his knees to claim the pronouncement.

Bamgbola, speaking to Fani-Kayode said: “You will rule Nigeria someday if you remain humble.”

Immediately after the session, Fani-Kayode knelt in the middle of men of God who prayed fervently for him.

After the event, Fani-Kayode reiterated that the CAMA law seeking to regulate the affairs of the church is evil, describing those that made the law as also evil.

“Any law that wants to regulate the affairs of churches is absolutely evil and I consider that section of that act to be evil. Those that proposed it are evil and it will never stand in Jesus’ name, that’s my position,” Fani-Kayode added.

Meanwhile, CAN's declaration on the former Aviation Minister becoming president did not go down well with Nigerians as some accused the Christian body of disgracing Christianity.

Below are some of their reactions:

@Obiagu “CAN will never tell these Politicians the truth. All they do is sell themselves short for a share of the National Cake.

@peacemaker “ Even FFK accepted the lies that he will be president on day.”

@Rotilaw “ This is unfortunate. Statements such as this drag CAN into the arena of partisan politics and undermines its ability to effectively represent Christian’s in the country.”

@Sir_Algon “ Mosques and churches today are the number one problem to the poor people of This Country.”

@Tobi “ Fani-Kayode and the CAN chairman are both jokers. See why some Christian leaders fall hand.“

@Yeancah19 “That’s probably the reason for his Nation tour and Press conferences.”

@Bazzrozay “ CAN has been bankrolled.”

@Saintoemirate “ These so-called pastors self…. After, you will tell the youth in your church they are leaders of tomorrow and you are telling ffk he will rule,,, abeg na wash.”

@Kayneul “ CAN chairman is trying to secure the bag, so don’t let them fool you. They’re all criminals. We don’t need leaders like that anymore.”

@Dr_fizzle “ This is appalling for Christianity in Nigeria.”
