The real target is not Magu but Tinubu and Osinbajo, says Fani-Kayode

Former Minister of Aviation and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Fani-Kayode, has described the ongoing investigation against the suspended EFCC boss, Ibrahim Magu, as an indirect attack against the APC National leader Bola Tinubu and vice president Yemi Osinbajo.

He alleged that Magu was never working for Buhari but for Tinubu and Osinbajo for the past four years, adding that the duo will be next after they have finished with Magu.


Fani-Kayode, in a post on his official Facebook page said, "What is happening to Magu today was planned years ago. The real target is not Magu but those he worked for and protected for the last 4 years. He NEVER worked for Buhari. He worked for Tinubu & Osinbajo. When they finish crushing him they will move against his two godfathers."

Recall that the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, had accused the anti-graft boss of gross infractions.

The AGF had asked President Muhammadu Buhari to sack Mr. Magu over some allegations, including the diversion of recovered loot.
