Nunieh: Gov Wike is a 'great spider-man', says Sen Sani

Senator Shehu Sani
Shehu Sani, former senator who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the national assembly, has described governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state as a "Great Spider-Man" for rescuing the former Director General of the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Joi Nunieh from police siege in the state.

Recall that policemen had laid siege to Nunieh’s residence hours to her appearance before a national assembly panel investigating the NDDC.

The state governor, Nyesome Wike later came and rescue her from the police siege.

Reacting in a tweet on Friday, Sani said the Ex NDDC DG should "be grateful to the Great Spider-Man" who came to her rescue from the police siege.

He wrote, "Joy should be grateful to the Great Spider-Man for the rescue."

Meanwhile, Joi Nunieh had vowed to open more cans of worms against Godswill Akpabio to Nigerians when given another opportunity in the national assembly to testify.

She stated this while speaking with reporters at government house in Port Harcourt.

She said, “The man that harassed me is at home, the man who stole the money is at home, the man who stole government files is at home, the man who took money is at home, the man who said I should go and take an oath is at home. It is a criminal offence, it is life imprisonment to take oaths, to even offer me an oath is liable,” she said.

“I am sure my lawyers will be working on my next step as we speak. I don’t think that Akpabio can kill me; definitely, he can’t.

But, why do people think that he has monopoly of violence. I think Akpabio wanted to stop me from giving my submissions before the house of representatives committee today. He succeeded but I am sure the house of representatives will give me another date. Nigerians will hear more.”
