JUST IN: Gov Ganduje, Oshiomhole, Oyegun to head Edo Guber campaign

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje 

Abdullahi Ganduje, Governor of Kano State, has been appointed by the Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress to head the party’s National Campaign Council for the Edo State Governorship Election.

Other members of the team include: The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma who is to serve as Deputy Chairman and Abbas Braimoh will serve as Secretary of the 49 - member Council.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Yekini Nabena, in Abuja, on Thursday. Punch report

He said the setting up of the council “followed the approval for the constitution of a National Campaign Council for the 19 th September, 2020 Governorship Election, by the National Chairman of the APC Caretaker /Extra - Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee, H.E. Mai Mala Buni.







“The campaign council will be inaugurated on Monday, 6th July 2020 at the Party’s National Secretariat.“

However, many Nigerians are reacting on the social media over the inclusion of the former national chairmen of the party, Adams Oshiomhole and chief John Oyegun, and also governor Abdullahi Ganduje in the committee, saying that the party has already loss Edo State.
