Katsina: Burning of Buhari’s signboard is justice for Jonathan — Omokri

Former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on social media, Mr Reno Omokri, has reacted to the stoning and burning of President Muhammadu Buhari’s images by protesters in Katsina state.

Katsina residents on Tuesday trooped out in their numbers to expressed their angst against President Buhari for his inability to address the security situation in the state. The protesters were seeing setting the President's campaign billboard ablaze.


Reacting in a tweet on Wednesday, Omokri described the crisis in Katsina state as the result of Injustice meted out against Goodluck Jonathan in 2015.


He tweeted, "On January 21, 2015, Katsina youths stoned the convoy of then President @GEJonathan. On June 8, 2020, Katsina youths stoned and burned images of General @MBuhari over insecurity in Katsina. No matter how far injustice has gone, justice will always overtake it.
