Edo Guber: Pastor Ize-iyamu wins APC primary as Giadom declares election illegal

Pastor Osagie Ize-iyamu has been declared winner of the Edo State APC governorship primaries with a total of 27,838 votes.

Dr. Pius Odubu and Hon Osaro Obaze came behind with a total of 3,776 and 2,724 votes respectively.


The results were announced after the APC committee reconvened from a short recess.

Meanwhile, the factional Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Victor Giadom had written the Independent National Electoral Commission asking it not to recognise the ongoing APC Governorship primary in Edo State.



He explained that his leadership didn’t authorise the conduct of the exercise.
