Disregard rumours of Ajimobi’s death — Aide tells Nigerians

Media aide to former governor of Oyo state, Bolaji Tunji, has debunked rumours making the rounds that his boss, Abiola Ajimobi, is dead.

Ajimobi, the deputy national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and acting national chairman of the party has been critically ill with an ailment suspected to be COVID-19.


In a Facebook post on Thursday night, Bolaji Tunji, who also served as Ajimobi’s special adviser on communication and strategy during his second term in office, asked for prayers for his boss.

“Kindly disregard all the rumours, just rumours. In all, we remain prayerful,” he posted on Facebook.
