You can't be supporting Buhari and still have sense, says Lere Olayinka

Femi Adesina, special assistance to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, has suffered heavy blows from Nigerians for saying they are lucky to have Buhari as President.

Adesina had said in a tweet on Tuesday that Nigerians are lucky to have Buhari as president at a time like this.


He stated this while debunking a report making the rounds on social media over his relationship with the new chief of staff, Prof Ibrahim Gambari.

But his statement did not go down well with Nigerians as many in the Social Media fire missiles at him for issuing such statement.

Also reacting, Lere Olayinka, former spokesman to ex governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, described Adesina's statement as unfortunate.

Olayinka, in a comment on Facebook said, "you can't be supporting Buhari and still have sense".
