Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai |
National Pivot previously reported about a Buhari supporter from Kaduna State, who took to Twitter to express his disappointment at both the State and Federal Government over their handling of relief materials meant to cushion the effects of the COVID-19 lockdown.
The Kaduna State Government had spent N500 million on food items to be shared to the poor across the State. But Mr Abubakar who said he visited one of the sites where these food items were being shared, was left in shock and had no choice but to shed tears.
Another Kaduna resident, Aliyu Musa Umar, who seemed to be struggling to cater for his family under the current lockdown and curfew put in place by Governor Nasir El-Rufai, said in a post he shared on a Facebook group, APC AGENDA, that he is willing to put his life on the line in order to feed his family than stay home and starve.
When translated into English, it says, "No one born of a woman can stop me from going out to work tomorrow so I can feed my family. Since you gave me no food, so you can't stop me from going out even if you'll have to kiII me."
