BREAKING: Nigeria's NCDC has announced more cases of Coronavirus has been confirmed in the country

More cases of Coronavirus has been confirmed in Nigeria, in addition to previously confirmed cases reported by the Nigerian Central for Disease Control, (NCDC).


The Government agency in a recent tweet, disclosed that 5 new cases of the novel coronavirus has been confirmed in addition to 3 previous cases which now totals 8.

All 5 cases had a travel history to the UK/USA

Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, made the disclosure at a press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday.



A detailed travel history of each case is being compiled & contact tracing has begun per Sahara Reporters.




The agency said all 5 reported cases had a travel history to the UK/USA, and urged Nigerians to remain calm as public health response activities are intensified across the country.
