The Christian Association of Nigeria had in a statement over a week ago, called on all Christians across the country to embark on a prayer walk to protest the spate of insecurity in the country especially attacks targeted at Christians.

CAN President, Dr Samson Ayokunle, while briefing journalists in Abuja, said the walk was aimed at rendering prayers for the country, and to call on the Buhari administration to do more to protect Christians in the country.

He added that Buhari's failure in the past years to identify, apprehend and prosecute criminal elements carrying out terr*r attacks against Christians, has strengthen the believe that his government is colluding with insurgents to exterminate Christians in Nigeria.
