BREAKING: Supreme Court nullifies APC’s Lyon victory in last year's Bayelsa election, declares Diri winner

Nigeria's Supreme Court has ruled against APC’s Candidate and his Deputy in last year's Bayelsa governorship election of which the People's Democratic Party’s candidate, Sen.Douye Diri, lost in a highly controversial circumstance.



The PDP celebrated the Supreme Court's ruling in a post shared on its official Facebook page, congratulating Diri for the victory in the Court.


It said, "The Supreme Court of Nigeria has nullified the election of the APC Candidates, Sir David Lyon and his running mate, Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo. The court also declared the PDP Candidates, Sen.Douye Diri and his running mate as winners of the election. Congratulations!"
