I didn't withdraw from Amotekun — Gov Abiodun react

The Governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun, has reacted to reports making the rounds that he has pulled out of Operation Amotekun, a newly established security outfit in Southwest.

The South West Security Network, code-named Operation Amotekun, was inaugurated last weekend and has since commenced operations in all the six states in the South West.



But the launched of the security outfit was greeted with mixed reactions across the country.

But, addressing newsmen in Sagamu on Sunday, Abiodun denied reports of pulling out from Amotekun, adding that his state has donated 20 operational vehicles to the initiative.




He said “All the six western governors jointly subscribed to the security outfit.

“We did not pull out as I was represented at the inauguration of the operation by my deputy.
