Breaking: More troubles for Iran as earthquake strikes near nuclear plant


Coincidence or not, things aren't going so well for Iran as it's feud with the US is on the rise. The Middle Eastern country has already retaliated as promised over last week's attack on its top military General by the US,



Shortly after its retaliatory attack targeted at US military bases in Iraq, News soon broke that a Ukrainian own Boeing 737-800 Airplane leaving the Iranian capital Tehran, had crashed near Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport.


But that isn't the end of a seemingly tragic January for Iran, as a magnitude 4.9 earthquake has reportedly hit the country early Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake according to report by Foxnews, struck in the southwestern part of the country near the Bushehr nuclear plant.




There's also stampede casualty to add to the number of troubles the Iranian nation had to deal with, within a span of about a week.

There is no evidence that the earthquake or the plane crash were related to the confrontations between the two countries.


There have been no reported injuries or damage from the latest quake.
