Whatever you make of it, President Muhammadu Buhari still has people who revere him as the best thing to have ever happen to Nigeria since independence. And his social media aide, Lauretta Onochie is an ardent fan.
Buhari who is obviously missing in the good books of millions of Nigerians has in a recent publication by Punch, been labeled a 'General' due to his persistent disregard for the rule of law, unlawful arrest of perceived enemies of his administration, and refusal to obey court orders.
The Nigerian Bar Association in is response to the court invasion by the DSS, expressed shock and demand for the immediate suspension of the DSS boss, Yusuf Bichi, under whose directive the act of lawlessness was perpetrated by the DSS. But the president is yet to take any action on the suspension call.
In an apparent swipe at Punch over its stance on the Buhari 'regime', Onochie once again took to Twitter to display her loyalty to the president.
Pres Buhari is our General in whom we are well pleased.— Lauretta Onochie (@Laurestar) December 11, 2019
He's the jailer of the corrupt.
Lover of the poor.
Despised by the looting elite.
Builder of roads and rails.
Strength of Farmers.
Completer-General of abandoned projects.
Always acts in the interest of Nigerians#SaiGeneral pic.twitter.com/WOuXdpNKyD

A fan @etimchuka2, replied her tweet with the words, "E be like say u smoke ganja."
Nope. You want some? Ask your mother. Shes a dealer.— Lauretta Onochie (@Laurestar) December 11, 2019
An obviously triggered Onochie could not hold her cool, and responded, "Nope. You want some? Ask your mother. Shes a dealer."
Meanwhile, an adamant Buhari administration warned foreign nations particularly the US and UK, against meddling in the country's internal issues.
He added, “Those countries and entities have issues of their own; let them deal with their issues. Let Nigeria also deal with her internal issues. We are not answerable to them.”
