Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on social media, has taken a swipe at the minister of works, Babatunde Fashola, for saying Nigerian roads are not that bad.
Fashola was quoted as saying that Nigerian roads are not as bad as often portrayed.
He said, “The roads are not as bad as they are often portrayed … the roads are not that bad.”
But reacting on his official twitter handle on Friday, Omokri said it was the same Fashola who was quoted as saying that a serious government can fix power problem within 6 months, but when he was made minister of power he began to give excuses.
He tweeted, "This same @TundeFashola now saying Nigerian roads are not that bad, was once reported as saying a serous government will fix power in 6 months. He was made minister for power and started giving serious excuses.
Recall that the former governor of Lagos state, and the minister of works, had in 2015 said that a serious government can fix power problem within 6 months.
However, he later deny issuing such statement, saying that he was misquoted.
