We are heading in the right direction — Osinbajo assures Nigerians

Nigeria may be experiencing one of its most trying times in history under the leadership of president Mohammadu Buhari, but like the president, vice President Yemi Osinbajo always made sure to remind Nigerians that everything is under control, and that the country is heading in the right direction.



In a statement in Abuja via his spokesman, Laolu Akande, the vice president said he is convinced that Nigeria has great hopes towards National development irrespective of its current challenges.




Osinbajo who spoke on the topic, “Six Decades of Chequered Nationhood: Nigeria Still Holds the Key to Africa’s Development” at the 8th Convocation Lecture of the Osun State University on Saturday in Osogbo, said, “This country is bound to succeed; we will get there.


“Our founding fathers were all right, even though they had not even seen Nigeria’s true potential.

“And indeed as Nigeria grows, so does Africa,” he said.
