It certainly could spell doom for the Buhari administration, but it might as well, just be the right cause of action especially when the president struggled to defend himself in court. But will merely asking Nigerians to pardon the president over misplacement of his WAEC result save a drowning administration?
It must have been a difficult decision to make by the presidency to have permitted Lai Mohammed to let the cat out of the bag and rely on 'pardon' to stroll over the certificate saga. But Senator Shehu Sani thinks Lai Mohammed's confession was a big mistake.
Sani said it could have been better if Lai Mohammed let the certificate issue remain the way it is instead adding more fuel to the fire.
He said, "My brother Lai, just leave that certificate matter and let the sleeping dog."
Buhari is still gasping for breath following the inability of his witnesses to defend Atiku's petition against Buhari's eligibility to contest for the 2019 presidential election.
