Those celebrating Buhari's Tribunal victory have no certificates — Reaction trails Daura celebration

President Mohammadu Buhari's victory at Presidential Election Petition Tribunal Wednesday 11, 2019 was met by a joyous atmosphere in the President's hometown of Daura, Katsina.

According to a report by Daily Post, Daura residents had lined up activities in the ancient town to celebrate the victory. Highlights of the activities conducted were car racing, motorcycle speed competition, singing and dancing from local entertainers within the eleven existing electoral wards of the area.

However, not everyone is comfortable with the ruling as can be seen in reactions both online and offline especially from the opposition camp.

Some of the reactions to the news or celebrations in the president’s hometown was seen by some as a celebration of mediocrity by the uneducated.

One user named Prince Romeo, referred to the people as a "group of no primary school certificate."
