Tinubu, in a congratulatory message to all Muslim faithful across the country and the world on the occasion of the celebration of Eid-ul-Adha on Saturday, had urged Nigerians to be ready to make sacrifice for the development of the country in the spirit of the festival.
“Like Prophet Ibrahim, let us be ready to make sacrifices for the well being of Nigerians and development of the country.”
But reacting to his statement on our Facebook page, Peter Adebayo, a Facebook user said he (Tinubu) has been offered as a sacrificial lamb for the progress of the nation.
Others also said that Nigerians have been making sacrifices but the dividends of the sacrifices is going into the pockets of the rich while the poor remained poor.
