#RevolutionNow: Buhari has scammed Nigerians — Reno Omokri

Unsurprisingly, the #RevolutionNow protest which began yesterday, has subtly uncovered what was widely seen as mere speculation and wailing by sore losers of the 2015 general elections.



To be honest, it's been laid bare for years since the Buhari administration took over from his predecessor. It was so apparent that we sometimes take it for a spin as nothing more than a goof by a president who tried his best to convince Nigerians that he's a changed man. Call it one of the finest scam of the 21st century and you'd probably be in company of millions who share a similar view.

It's been over four years since Buhari became president. And those who went all out against Jonathan to ensure Buhari takes the wheel, are once again back to the streets albeit with a different mission, to undo their own creation. In other words, they are simply saying its better we return back to Egypt, than be led to our doom by a leader who himself has no clue where he's taking the country.



Unless you are from the president’s camp, you're probably one of millions who think Buhari failed to live up to expectations. So what was the point of rallying against Jonathan if those who enthroned Buhari are the very same people out on the streets in protest against their messiah?

Reno Omokri who was aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan is left wondering at the level of hypocrisy playing out in the country. He said statistics are there to prove that Buhari has scammed Nigerians, and that only a hypocrite won't see the damage done to Nigeria by the Buhari administration.

It is interesting that Nigerians were able to tolerate this huge open anomaly in Buhari's subsidy regime. Could it be out of fear of the masters rod?
