Fulfillment of Primate Ayodele's prophecy shows God cannot lie

You may be one of those who feel enough prayers has been offered, and that its time to act instead of waiting for the extraordinary.

Nigeria's problems keeps mounting despite prayers offered in various churches and mosques across the country. As a religious country, it is quite easy to understand why. But should we rely on prayers alone? That's the question asked by many who feel prayers without works won't get the job done.



While Nigerians are now calling for more action than just prayers, God has his own way of doing things. And this can be seen in the way he both reveals and makes things come to pass.

Perhaps, many Nigerians are losing faith due to what many refer to as failed prophesies especially by some prominent preachers in the country. One of many Nigerian pastors known for their prophesies, is Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele.

At the public unveiling of the 2018/2019 edition of his annual prophecy book, Warnings to The Nations, in March 2018, Ayodele had urged the Buhari presidency to pray to avert ‘death in the Villa’.



This prophetic warning published on page 47 of the book says “Let the President Pray Not to Lose Any of His Aides”.

Two days ago, an aide of President Muhammadu Buhari, Alhaji Tijani Yusuf, who was an assistant in charge of special duties, passed away.

According to the servant of God, only those with the gift of prophetic insights alone would understand divine messages in details, because obedience affects legacies.



“If we abide in God, He will abide in us and lead us on the narrow path,” the Primate said.

One thing Christians in Nigerians regardless of their differences would agree, is that God answers prayers even if they struggle to understand why things still aren't going well in the country.

While the country's liberation from bad leadership cannot be left to prayers alone, a country which believes God answers prayers must not allow its faith to fail.
