The jubilation which greeted the emergence of Buhari as president in 2015, was a far cry compared to what the nation witnessed a few months ago following the February 23rd presidential election. The difference was an indication of lack of confidence in Buhari's ability to address the many issues he promised to address prior to winning the 2015 election.

Nigerians wondered what good Buhari's next level would bring if the past four years of his administration seemed more like a curse than a blessing.

And now the PDP's National Chairman Prince Uche Secondus, has said that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC government has made a fool out of those who despite knowing his terrible past records, decided to give him the benefit of a doubt by voting him to power.

He said, the fact that even Buhari's staunch supporters are now turning against him, is a clear message that trusting him in the first place was a big mistake. He said a government Which cannot protect Nigerians, united Nigerians and fix the ailing economy does not deserve to occupy the highest position in the country.

He added that political office holders in the country are now for the first time, afraid to travel outside the country for fear of being disgraced.

He said, “The will of God must be done. If you like it, delay it, if you like, intimidate the people, if you like whatever you want to do, but one day…There is this adage that you can fool the people some of times, but you can’t fool the people all the time.

“Nigerians have been fooled by the APC government. Today, they say they have lifted 100 million people from poverty. Do you have any economic blueprint? What is the way forward? The economy has collapsed. Nigeria is divided. We are being disgraced outside the country.”
