Buhari and Herdsmen are laughing at us — Omokri

Omokri accuse Nigerians of taking serious issues for granted.
There is this belief that Nigerians posses short memories which explains why they easily go back to their vomit. This is said to be imminent in our inability as a people to translate our outrage on certain national issues, into something positive and meaningful.



There's plenty of information out there in the public space all thanks to the digital age we're in. A lot of Nigerians now have access to information more than ever before, but what they do with it is another thing entirely.

Is it that we are used to our predicaments and prefer to manage it rather than fight for what by right is ours? Or is it that we are so careless and easily carried away by things that hold no value compared to the things we should be fighting for? If the latter is the case, then Reno Omokri's recent tweet is right on point.




Omokri in his recent tweet, accused Nigerians of all talk without action. He said the country is filled with people who do not know the value of the information at their disposal. He said while those we accuse of harboring secret agendas against the south are making progress in their plans, the south is busy with BBNaija, Fatoyinbo and Neymar.


He said,."HERDSMEN will keep killing Nigerians? Because all we do is talk. Look at the Afenifere leader's daughter's death. 2 weeks and we moved on to #BBNaija. RUGA is going on in secret. We are focused on Neymar and Fatoyinbo. President Mohammadu Buhari and herdsmen are LAUGHING."


Omokri's statement obviously won't go down well with those focused on the three issues he mentioned above. But a country currently in need of a headway requires a population more focused on putting government under pressure to deliver good governance rather than entertain away their sorrows.
