When you tell Nigerians to come out and protest, they say “I no wan die” — Adeyanju

Human rights activist, Comrade Deji Adeyanju, on Monday has said that Nigerians lack the courage to protest against President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.

He said that "Hong Kong streets have witnessed 6 weeks of protests by pro democracy demonstrators." But in Nigeria when they call for protest nobody will come out because of fear.

Although protest against Nigerian government most especially the current administration has always been bloody unlike the previous administration.

But Adeyanju in a post on his verified twitter handle challenge Nigerians to be courageous and fight to defend democracy in the country.

His words, "Hong Kong streets have witnessed 6 weeks of protests by pro democracy demonstrators. In Nigeria, when you tell young people to come out, they say “I no wan die”.
