We want Ruga to be canceled, not suspended — Fani-Kayode reacts

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the suspension of planned establishment of Ruga settlement for Fulani herdsmen by the federal government.

The federal government had suspended the Ruga initiative it proposed to resolve the clashes between farmers and herdsmen on Wednesday.

Reacting on his official Facebook page, Kayode said that suspending the Ruga initiative is not what Nigerians want, but its cancelation. He said for peace to reign in the country, Ruga must be canceled.



His words, "We do not want you to suspend RUGA, we want you to CANCEL it! Suspension means you are postponing the evil day, cancel means it is NEVER coming back.

"If you want peace in this country RUGA must be CANCELLED and you must also CANCEL your Fulanisation and Islamisation policy.
