Obasanjo's Letter: The messenger is not handsome, but the message is very important — Sen Sani tells Buhari

Shehu Sani, the Senator who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th national assembly, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to accept Obasanjo’s advice as contained in the open letter he sent to him.

In an open letter on Monday, Obasanjo said the rate at which things were going, Nigeria could experience a situation similar to Rwanda where there was genocide in 1994.

“To be explicit and without equivocation, Mr. President and General, I am deeply worried about four avoidable calamities,” he wrote.



“Violent uprising beginning from one section of the country and spreading quickly to other areas and leading to dismemberment of the country.”

But reacting in his verified twitter handle on Tuesday, Sani said the messenger might not be handsome but the message is very important.

His words, "The President should not use Obj’s letter as a Toilet roll,just clip it near the dressing mirror.The messenger is not surely handsome but the message is a Bell and a compass.Obj and Baba knows each other more than anyone knows about them.
